Small round inset along the secluded rocky coastline. 20 ft in the middle but quickly goes to 6 ft toward shore. Excellent mud bottom. Can hold 2-4 boats comfortably. Tuck in around the corner to get out of the lake Champlain waves. Posted land, not allowed to go to shore.

Excellent mud bottom. Protected from wakes and wind. Was a little shallow as you enter but then 10 ft or great along the middle for a long stretch so could hold lots of boats. Plenty of swing room. Train runs frequently but only minor ambient noise. No place to dingy

Beautiful location. Access to Bear Mtn State Park with a riverside field to stroll or a walk up to the park with Bear Mtn Inn, pool, zoo, merry go round and extensive hiking trails. The anchorage is on a narrow stripe between deep water and very shallow water so come in slowly. We dropped the anchor at 25 ft and had plenty underneath us. Excellent mud holding. Trains run frequently on both sides of the river so ambient background noise. No wake protection and barges go through late evening and early am. Enjoyed the location and the park

Penns landing marina in Philadelphia was great. The marina itself has only the basics but the location can't be beat. The marina is in a protected quay and is part of the Penn landing waterfront and waterfront trails. It is about a 0.5 mile walk to Independence National Park. Penn landing is a stop for the Hop on/hop off buses, so easy access to the rest of the cities attractions. One tip for Independence park. Independence hall requires a ticket for admission and tour, but does allow people in between 9am and 9:50 am daily with no ticket.

Penns landing marina has docks, power, and water for services. Locked gate to the docks, marina attendant present during the day, in addition, the river wall itself is locked 10 pm to 6 am. Area was clean. The marina shares the quay with boat restaurant and bar which can be noisy at night.
The marina is currently open May 1-August 1. Harbor master was attentive, reaching out with directions and information . Pricing was laddered; 41-49 ft was $2.50.
