Good holding. Current was fairly calm and only two other boats here while we were here. Cumberland Island is beautiful. Dinghy dock right across. Not too many wakes from other boats. Quite the nice calm anchorage.

Marina staff was fantastic. Mooring field was terrific. Dinghy dock and access to downtown was also great. Lots of restaurants and shops close by. My only complaint would be that, as with almost anywhere, tons of wake from people driving like idiots through the mooring field causing huge wakes.
The marina does offer free pumpouts!

Very exposed to lots of traffic, especially smaller boats in the morning. Lots of wake and little wind protection from north and east. The island itself is beautiful!

Anchored here one night. Anchor held well. It is a fairly open area, so we felt fairly exposed. A little tricky getting in and it is in the ICW, so there was barge traffic. Lots of small boat traffic, as well.

Anchored here for two nights. Anchor held nicely. Beautiful white sand beaches.
