Most uncomfortable marina experience we have ever had. First of all, the current rips through the marina and unless the winds are coming off the land, it is extremely uncomfortable. We felt like we were on a bucking bronco.

Most uncomfortable Anchorage we have ever been in. I wouldn't come here in anything but east winds. The river is very wide and there is lots of fetch that can build up with opposing currents. If you really need to go to Jamestown, rent a car.
The recreation settlement was interesting, but the original site has, of course, nothing left from 1605. Just signs in the ground telling you what used to be there.
