This bridge is under construction and can somewhat confusing. The bridge has a 45' clearance. The bridge tender is super friendly, recognized that we were unfamiliar with area, and gave us great direction on how to make the North turn without incident. Thank you so much, you made our day.

Bridge Tender super friendly. We thought we were going to miss our opening, the bridge was still open and the tender held allowing us to pass. Their thoughtfulness allowed us to make make the rest of the bridges on que and it was the perfect start to our day.

Marina Review for HAVN Yacht Club

This marina is outstanding. I love the staff and their level of customer service is beyond exceptional. From the moment you call on the radio to inform of your arrival they are ready.
They are just inside the West Palm inlet and currents, tides, and traffic on the east side of Peanut Island and be difficult. Joe and Ozlem were on the docks to greet us and help guide us in. They were spectacular.
We were spoiled during our stay. Fuel, water, pump-out, and power all at the stern of our boat.
Our slip faced Phil Foster Park and Blue Heron Bridge. The view at night was breath taking and we got some great photos of the storms as they rolled in during our stop.
If you are in the need of a marina that will pamper your soul after a rough crossing or just need a little extra TLC this is the place.
Meira, thanks for the dockmate connection. It's installed and we are excited to use it on our way North.
Joe and Olzem thank you for making everything possible.
We will be back.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Marina Review for Nettles Island Marina

This marina is in very poor condition. It appears that work was started a long while back on the rebuilding of docks; however that work is 100% stand still. We arrived late December 2024. Upon arrival there was no one at the marina to meet us, fortunately there was only one empty slip, so we knew that was ours. We had reserved a slip 50amp power and sadly our slip was 30amp. We had to run an extension cord down the dock two power towers down. One of the power towers lost power and has not been repaired. So, all the other boats moved their cords and worked themselves into power towers that were easily accessible to their vessels.
We were told on multiple occasions that the pump out was fixed. We were there 30 days and no it was not fixed.
The amenities..the ladies room was clean, but there is mold on the ceiling, never used the shower so I can't say. The men's room had a horrible smell, the urinal was out of order but still being used. (yuck).
There are some nice things to say...
The marina has a small grocery store that has a little bit of everything and a decent selection of affordable wine. The grocery store staff are friendly and they make awesome sandwiches.
Sanders Landing is the restaurant on site, it stays busy and food preparation smells great. (Did not eat there)
Lastly, our slip was next to WET FEET Adventures, we thought being next to a boat rental spot was going to loud and turbulent with boats and jet ski in and out all day. I am happy to say that I think we had the best spot in the marina. The staff were helpful and friendly especially Evan. Since the "Gilberts" were never on site, the staff at Wet Feet were a valuable resource.
Nettles Island Marina is located inside the ICW and if you stay there you will need ground transportation. It's about 5 miles to the closest Publix. There are no short Uber rides...everything is 15 to 20 minutes in either direction. The only nice thing is the marina is less an .25 walk to the beach.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer
