Stayed 1 night with the marina amongst several others. The bath house and pool are were very clean. The business manager, Mary was outstanding. She prepared very detailed instructions to get from the river directly to your slip. She was there to great and help us secure our boat. Would give it 5 stars but location is very isolated.

Good location and floating docks are in good shape. Popular restuarant on-site and food was good. Short walk to charming town. Bath house was modern and clean but a bit of a walk from our dock

During our recent visit, the location is great with the resturants and free trolly to take you to the Yorktown battle field. If the wind and waves are lite, great location but our 2 nights the wind a waves were coming off the river and we were pinned to the dock and rocked hard all night, even throwing the fenders on the dock.

River Dunes is a wonderful marina in a well protected location. We came in during high winds. Scott brought us in with great verbal directions and got us into our slip smoothly. The surrounding community and amenities are fabulous. The floating dock where we were needs to be stabilized - and they are making those improvements. Restaurants and some provisions on site.

A great stop, especially the marina and staff. We stayed three nights to enjoy the history of Charleston and the many great restaurants. We did not use the laundry or showers so no comment. The marina shuttle will take you to local attractions, grocery and restaurants. Suggest you come in during slack tide as the current is swift. They held us outside the marina until our turn so the competent dockhand was in place to assist with get docked in the crosswind. Would stop here again.

Marina, management and staff are very nice and helpful. Kingfisher Grill is on-site as well as a repair facility next door. The only real downside is the marina is a ways from the historic district and groceries, but a short Uber ride will get you there. Another issue was the listed transient fees which were listed on their website and Waterway Guide as $3.00 ft. That has changed with dynamic pricing so call before you book on Dockwa. With the strong river current, this marina is easy in and out. We would return if in the area.

Arrived here about mid tide with no less then 4 ft. Under our 5 ft Draft. Very wide anchorage so swing in the current and wind is not an issue. There is not much wind protection, but would definitely use again.

As far as location, you are right along the riverwalk with numerous restaurants, but the slips are right on the New River with a lot of boat traffic until later a night. The current made it a challenge to get in the slip. Our slip was in rough shape and next to the highway bridge which was noisy.

Stayed here April 8, 2025 after traveling all day in high wind and waves. Once inside the island, there is a concrete seawall lining the entire inside with dock cleats about every 10'. Although we still had wind throughout the night, no wave action and boat was secure. Very nice park with picnic tables, restrooms and nice area to get out and walk.

Stayed here starting April 1, 2025 while waiting for wind/waves to settle down before heading north. We were fortunate to have a floating dock during our stay. Would agree with everything thing in the previous review. Our dockland, Chris was exceptional. Would stay here again.

We stayed there last night and the marina looks brand-new after their rebuild after the hurricane. At the foot of your boat is Gramma Dot's, a great restaurant  open for lunch and dinner. Our dockhand was of great help getting us in on a windy day. There is a nice walk to the Sanibel lighthouse and along the beach. A little pricy but great marina.

We stayed here for 3 nights and had an enjoyable time. The marina is small so you need to make reservations well ahead of time to secure a slip. John, one of the employees could not have been more helpful and pleasant. He was most helpful helping us in with the strong winds. Additionally, the locations is perfect with the Greek area of town right at the marina with several great restaurants and shops. Bring you bike for a paved trail from Tarpon Springs to St. Pete. There is one modern and clean restroom with plenty of room.

$ 188 for one night, no hook-ups, nothing. Two boats had reservations and we came in after office hours. They did not contact to tell us where to dock, slip number or anything. The next morning went to the office to explain what happen, that we are only staying one night and where we tied up there was no power (as requested) or water. OK that will be $188 for the night
