Dave and Emily are super nice, friendly and helpful. They bought the marina in October 2023, made it their own, and it shows. Power on the dock wall is single socket 30A on posts but Dave has an extra 30A cable which he let me use so I could use my dual 30A adapter for my 50A requirement. They also have mooring balls available if no dock space. We will stay there again on the next trip through.

We did not stay here but I visited by car to check it out for the future. Confirming Nick Malden's review (below) and, as he said, they do not currently have water or power but they have a brand new 500 foot wall with lots of cleats. The dockhand I spoke with was very helpful, strongly suggested reservations and said there were no issues with running a generator if it was needed. Drove up into town and it was very active for a Sunday afternoon. There is a Metro grocery store at the other end of the Main Street from the marina. Looking forward to a visit by boat.
After I got back to our boat, I spoke with several Canadian boaters who like Picton and didn't like the marina in the past but were not aware the city took over and built the new wall. They said they would go back if that was the case.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Can't say enough about the gracious hospitality of Angel and Carlo Allegri. They are new owners in 2024 and have raised the standard at this cozy marina. We had already planned to stay on the fuel dock just for one night but we dinged a prop on the way here. Carlo met us with the name of a diver and then said stay on the fuel dock as long as we needed. They have clean restrooms, stable twin 30A power, water, pumpout, bbq grill and courtesy car. No diesel in 2025 but Carlo said summer 2026. Great stop.

Lock comment on Lock and Dam 22 Nassau Mills

Easy access to walking/biking trails north to Lakefield or south to Peterborough. Strong recommendation as alternative to Peterborough.
