Description:
Quick off/on of ICW. April 2022. Low winds so we were Immediately attacked by No see-um squads while setting anchor :) We Hid inside rest of night. Nice view of stars It was peaceful quite anchorage. Anchor came up fairly clean. Only slightly waked once during our stay overnight. Current kept us centered in channel. Good Cell coverage and TV reception.

Easy on/off the ICW. Minimal crab pots seen in this anchorage. 12 ft of depth at low tide. Quiet, peaceful and mild current. Saw no fisherman zooming past during our stay. Shared the anchorage with two other large yachts, with room for at least five more. Good holding.

This is just off the ICW and offers very secure holding and provides abundant room to safely swing. Anchor and rode come up clean. It can be buggy with the noseeums but is manageable. Early morning fishermen will be running blacked out in the dark here in their high speed fishing boats so make sure you're well lit over night.
