Fast running current outside the marina that will move you along quickly if not careful! The new dockmaster, Taylor, was very helpful at the fuel dock, pumping out as well as docking at the slip. As you wind around the marina, the water becomes very calm. Docks are fixed and could be done stern or bow in. If bow in, there is a step attached to the dock.
On Saturdays, there is a full-blown breakfast served at the pavillion next to the olympic sized pool! Lots of members come in for this. I think there was at least 100+ people of all ages. Very family-friendly atmosphere!
We had an attachment patch replaced on our dinghy while here. Lots of services available.
Music nightly at Red Eyes bar nearby. Restaurants within walking distance and (my favorite) Dessert First enarby as well!

Try disappointed with the slip we were assigned. Our beam is 10' and at best the slip was 11' wide. Add to this a piece of metal angle iron protruding out from the dock.
The dock hand did help and after we expressed our concern he said we could move but as it was the end of a long day and the wind was blowing we stayed put. Expected much more for price charged.
Proximity to restaurant was a positive.

We had a great time at this marina! Friendly staff and very good facilities. Within walking distance to great restaurants. Transient slips are well situated and protected. Side note for the onsite restaurant - best steak I've had in years!
