Little Grand Cay - Inner Harbour

  • Location: Little Bahama Bank
  • Lat / Lon: N 27° 13.167' / W 078° 19.365'
  • Depth: 8'-10'
  • Tide: 2.0'-2.5'
  • Description:

The inner harbour is a long narrow body of water that lies between Little Grand Cay and Sea Horse Cay. It is a bustling place that is home to two marinas, a government dock and a seawall  with dozens of small center console boats used by the local fishermen to tend their nets and traps. The traffic can make for a steady stream of wakes.

The anchorage is located on a circular patch of sand approximately 300’ in diameter that lies in the center of the harbour between Rosie’s Place Marina and Max’s Marina.  Drop your anchor somewhere along a line between 27 ° 13.184’N, 078 ° 19.400 and 27 ° 13.159’N, 078 ° 19.354’W and be sure to back down to ensure you are well set.

DISCLAIMER: Before committing to an anchorage, you should confirm that the location is not governed by a regulation that may conflict with your plans. An increasing number of states and municipalities are enacting laws that define where and how long you may anchor.
