- Description:
Beautiful large lagoon bay. Tricky entry to deeper center water due to sand bar, but quite doable in draft not exceeding four feet and a keen eye. Protected from southerly winds. Not a good place to be in stronger northerly winds. Very picturesque Bahamian blue over white sand. Masses of sand dollars (pansy shells) scattered in the lagoon. The bay is provide some northern/north east protection by a fringe of outcroppings with some passable gaps between (and some not passable).
