  05/09/2024 Conditions on Abermarle sound were good enough for our crossing Northbound so decide to press across instead of anchoring by the Alligator bridge area. Running out out daylight time dropped anchor here. A few crab pots but not bad. Holding seemed good but only moderate winds to test it. Worked out to be decent anchorage. Good enough ATT/Verizon cell phone coverage and hot spot worked well for our Zoom meeting.
