East Pimlicos
- Lat / Lon: N 23° 48.866' / W 076° 13.349'
- Depth: 6'-8'
- Tide: 2.5'-3.0'
- Description:
The East Pimlico Cays are a group of two elongated islands oriented north – south. The Pamlico Route runs between the two cays before making a sharp turn to run parallel to the NE shore of the southern most cay. Despite being completely open from all directions except NE-E it is possible to anchor on the west side of the southern most cay in relative comfort in strong east winds. The islands are uninhabited and going ashore requires agility to scramble over rock but for those wanting to get away from it all for a night, this is a good choice.
