- Lat / Lon: N 37° 54.769' / W 086° 31.384'
- Depth: 8
- Tide: N/A
- Description:
Enter visual center of creek. Pass under bridge and anchor between bridge and first bend. At normal pool level you should carry 8 feet of water. Anchored here when water was 4 feet above normal, bridge was greater than 24 feet based on our antenna not contacting bridge. Good holding in mud, chain came up clean and anchor was covered in black mud. Might consider a stern anchor if no current to hold the boat in middle of creek.
DISCLAIMER: Before committing to an anchorage, you should confirm that the location is not governed by a regulation that may conflict with your plans. An increasing number of states and municipalities are enacting laws that define where and how long you may anchor.
