Eagle Point Anchorage

• Description:

  Small beach to land dinghy at the North tip of Island. Dogs can run & swim. Water deep up close to shore. Swim. Small bar runs out WNW from this point so avoid that approach in the big boat. Can anchor big boat nearby but gets busy with local water skiers and wave runners on weekends. Pontoon boats and small runabouts bow onto the beach and party there all day. Can easily dinghy here from Terrace View Marina. Approach in big boat from East side of Island and anchor just North of tip (don't go over the bar going WNW). We had 20-30 feet of water that way.
