- Description:
Horseshoe Cove is a mushroom-shaped cove just south of Edward Harbour. Enter the cove in the center of the passage to avoid the shoaling on either side. The northeast side offers protection from most winds and the northwest side is protected from all wind directions. This anchorage is very snug and many boats put out a stern anchor and then tie to trees on the south shore. Watch for deadheads in this corner.
DISCLAIMER: Before committing to an anchorage, you should confirm that the location is not governed by a regulation that may conflict with your plans. An increasing number of states and municipalities are enacting laws that define where and how long you may anchor.
