Fowl Cay-Berry Islands

  There is a patch of sand on the west side of Fowl Cay that offers acceptable holding in settled conditions. The area is relatively large but there is only room for one vessel in this anchorage because a strong tidal current makes the water very turbulent. In the band between 150 -100 yds of the Cay there is less turbulence. The bottom is hard and the holding poor closer in to the Cay.
